Out of 2004, Fall is about love and the loss of love- the drive to mend, break, heal, flee, and attach. It is a picture of my unsuccessful experience of finding myself through others. Its references to many colors, body parts, and nature all implicate the cyclical experiences we put ourselves through in the name of happiness and their inevitable outcome of repetition. This particular snapshot of the process captures a moment of recognition of the cycle itself, and the first moment of hope of breaking away, improvement, and self-discipline.
